Jumuah — Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. The service

Jumuah (the “Bot”) is a free Islamic Discord bot, developed and maintained by Can “Karbone” (the “Owner”). It offers a non-stop Quran radio, daily posts (hadith, verse, supplications, Friday reminder), prayer times and reminders, community features (quiz, group khatm, prayer tracker) and tools (Hijri calendar, tasbih, zakat…).

2. Use

By adding the Bot to a server or to your account, you accept these terms as well as Discord’s Terms of Service. You may not use the Bot to harm others, bypass its limits, deliberately overload it or misuse its features.

3. Religious content

Texts (Quran, hadiths, supplications) come from recognised public sources, cited in the Bot. Translations are approximations of the meaning and do not replace the Arabic text. Prayer times and Hijri calendar dates are calculated: they may differ from your mosque’s or from local moon sighting. The zakat calculation is indicative; for any religious question, consult a person of knowledge.

4. Premium

The Premium subscription is taken out for one Discord server, paid monthly by card through Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time from the dashboard: it stays active until the end of the paid period. Free features do not depend on Premium. As access is provided immediately, you waive the right of withdrawal for the current period (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code); if you have a problem, contact us.

5. Availability

The Bot is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability. It relies on third-party services (Discord, mp3quran.net, alquran.cloud, Aladhan, Open-Meteo, hadith-api) which may be interrupted. The Owner may change, suspend or stop all or part of the service, or remove the Bot from a server that abuses it.

6. Liability

The Owner cannot be held liable for damage related to the use of the Bot, nor for content posted by server members.

7. Changes

These terms may change; the version in force is the one published at this address.
