Jumuah — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Jumuah (the “Bot”) is run by Can “Karbone” (the “Owner”). The Bot collects the strict minimum it needs to work. It does not read the content of your messages.

Stored data

• Server settings, entered by administrators with /config and /radio: IDs of the chosen channels and roles, posting times, time zone, radio station, reference city (name and approximate coordinates) and prayer calculation method.
• Personal settings, only if you ask for them: the city saved with /prayers remember:True (name, coordinates, time zone, method), your private reminders with /reminders (chosen prayers, timing, your Discord language) and your tasbih counter (a number).
• Activity in community features: your quiz answers (right or wrong, kept 30 days) and your score per server, the juz you take in a group khatm, and the prayers you tick with /tracker (date and prayer name).
• Audit log of each server: who changed which setting and when (Discord ID and username), visible to its administrators and deleted after 6 months.
• Technical log of scheduled posts (server ID, type and date), deleted automatically after 7 days.

This data is stored on a private server in France and is never sold, shared or used for advertising.

Dashboard (jumuah.xyz)

• Log in with Discord: we receive your ID, your name, your avatar and your list of servers, only to show the ones you can manage. This information stays in an encrypted session cookie; it is not stored in a database. Your language choice is kept in a cookie.
• Premium: payment is processed by Stripe. We never see your card number; we only keep the Stripe customer and subscription IDs, its status and the Discord ID of the member who subscribed.
• Statistics: number of posts, reminders, commands and radio listening minutes, per server and per day, with no data about members; deleted after 90 days.

Data sent to third-party services

To answer your commands, the Bot queries public services: the city name you search is sent to Open-Meteo (geocoding), the city coordinates to Aladhan (prayer times). No data identifying you is sent. Discord processes your interactions under its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

• When the Bot is removed from a server, that server’s settings are deleted automatically.
• An administrator can disable each module with /config disable.
• You can stop your private reminders at any time with /reminders stop.
• To have your personal data deleted (city, reminders, tasbih, quiz, prayer tracker), contact the Owner: requests are handled within 30 days.
